Lately, we’re stuck on oversized stripes, funky watercolors, and anything that looks like it belongs in a sunset. Coral, peach, bright red and fuchsia. We want them all together. I recently bought some vintage yellow and orange outdoor chairs that feel very Palm Springs, and they've now become my daily inspiration. Every time I look at them, I get another idea. Even a walk around the neighborhood has turned into a color study when the flowers have been blooming nonstop.
In a strange way, it's bringing us back to the things we grew up on. Those primary colored ice pops, "in your face" toy packaging, and slightly ridiculous combinations that somehow all made perfect sense. We had a little kid sized car growing up that feels especially Goldie looking back at it now. If you grew up in the 90's, you know exactly which one I'm talking about.
That happy, playful nostalgia keeps finding its way into our patterns, paired with the modern swimwear shapes we've developed over the years. A few of these obsessions will be making an appearance very soon. Consider this... an elusive sneak peek at what’s coming soon.
